Lending roles

Six jobs between the application and the annual review. Each page describes one desk: what lands on it, what it decides, and the training that fits it.

Credit analyst
You approve nothing. Your job is that the numbers the approver reads are true, adjusted and questioned.
Credit adjudicator
You never met the borrower. That distance is the product: judgment on the file, not on the relationship.
Account manager
Fifty to a hundred and fifty business relationships, most under a delegated limit. You are the filter between a conversation and a credit file.
Relationship manager
Your targets are revenue and share of wallet, and the book you grow is the book you will be judged on in three years.
Branch lender
In a smaller market you are the discovery call, the spread, the memo and sometimes the approval — the borrower knows your name, and that is the risk.
Portfolio manager
You sell nothing. Your queue is every loan already made, and your wins are the problems caught early enough to matter.

How this differs from who Crediteris is for

The audience pages describe who buys and runs Crediteris: the new hire, the coach, the learning lead, the administrator. These pages describe the lending jobs themselves — the analyst who spreads statements, the adjudicator who approves inside a limit, the account manager who reads a file first. The job exists whether or not the training does; each page says what the role owns before it says where the curriculum fits.
