About Crediteris

Most commercial credit training is written for a generic institution, with US GAAP or IFRS statements and US security law. A Canadian development banker spends the day on something else: compiled ASPE statements from an owner-managed company, a general security agreement under the provincial PPSA or a movable hypothec in Québec, a CRA deemed trust behind the secured lender, and a mandate that asks for a responsible way to say yes.

Crediteris is built around those files, and around the idea that judgment is learned by practising it. That is why every module is at least 70% active work, and why the rule is measured module by module rather than claimed for the catalogue as a whole.

Crediteris is the credit-specific part: the curriculum, the case library, the competency framework and the assessment bank. It runs on Discence, a general learning platform that handles courses, pathways, assessments, enrolment, reporting, SCORM and xAPI, and administration. Keeping the two apart means the platform carries nothing that only makes sense for credit, and the curriculum does not depend on platform details.

Crediteris keeps the root that says what the product is about, and it reads the same way in French and English. For a product meant to be used equally in both languages, that mattered.

Crediteris teaches credit judgment. It does not exercise it. It will not analyse real client files, it will not assist with data analysis on real borrowers, and it will not make or recommend credit decisions. That boundary is built into the product: case tools accept only case data, and nothing asks for a client document.

Crediteris is new. The table below is the plain statement of its status, and every other page on this site links here. We will update it as things change.

We publish no customer names, logos, testimonials or results, because we have none yet. When that changes, anything we publish will be real and approved by the client concerned.
